It’s a couple of days left before Google Reader’s demise, and we’ve seen a bunch of alternatives for the soon to end Google Reader, from Feedly to Digg. About to join the race for Google’s Reader users is AOL, this was confirmed on their Beta page for their Feed Reader called AOL Reader. The AOL Reader will allow user to sign in with your AOL, Facebook, Google, or Twitter account to access to the beta. As seen on the Beta page, the AOL reader will allow users to upload their subscriptions in standard OPML format, it will be customizable and allow users to tweak their layout. Signing up for the AOL reader doesn’t seem to work at the moment, Engadget confirmed that a “bona fide launch won’t occur until next week.”
