YouTube mentioned plans to bring support for videos running at 60 frames-per-second earlier this year, and yesterday they did just that. This brings the much needed difference for watching video game clips running at 60FPS, the service already started rolling out yesterday. Apart from content providers uploading the 60FSP videos, there’s a catch here, you’ll need to watch the videos in HD with Google’s Chrome browser to take advantage of the 60FSP viewing experience. Look at the Mario Kart 8 video below to get a feel of the new feature, set the video to 720p or 1080p first and check out the silk smooth motion from the actual gameplay.
