My friends know for a fact that I never like being locked in a contract with a specific carrier, that’s why I opt for off-contract providing carriers and unlocked phones which come in handy when travel out of the country. iPhone lovers who don’t want to get in the mix with a specific carrier can now buy an iPhone off-contract without a SIM card in America. Before now, you’d locked in a two-year contract or buy one of them unlocked with T-Mobile. The unlocked iPhone starts at $649 for the 6 and $749 for the 6 Plus, both in-store and online. I know it’s a bit late for Apple to make this announcement. Better late than never, right?
