The rate at which connected technology is advancing these days, makes me wonder what the world will look like 20 years from now. Now I see why every company wants a piece of the connected technology pie. At AT&T’s MWC 2015 press event, the telecom giant announced the Integration of their Home Security and Automation Controls with the Connected Car. Such integration means that AT&T’s innovative connected car platform now has the ability to connect to the company’s home security, door locks, thermostat and even garage doors from your connected car panel. I guess it’s high time to let that jalopy go and come to the connected side.
