Facebook Live is a growing popular video streaming service and since its release in August, users could only livestream from their mobile app. Well, add Windows 10 devices to the list of devices you can use to livestream to your Facebook audience. The desktop Facebook Live version functions just like what we currently use on mobile devices. Adding this feature isn’t much of a surprise, at this year’s March’s Build conference, Microsoft executive vice president for Windows and Devices group Terry Myerson mentioned that Facebook was investing more in universal Windows 10 apps. This includes launching not only its core services but also Instagram and Messenger.

WinBeta noted in a recent blog post that, the update is slowly rolling out. So if you don’t see the “Go Live” button in the status update field just yet, just be patient. There’s no word about whether Facebook Live on the desktop will extend to other Windows OS, Mac or Chrome OS in the near future.
