If for some reason you are one of those that need a 1TB microSD for your phone, then you’ll be pleased to know that Western Digital SanDisk has got you covered. The company announced the launch of its first 1TB microSD card at the Mobile World Congress 2019.  It’s a U3-rated, and according to Western Digital, their SanDisk Extreme lineup of microSD cards can achieve 160MB/s read speed and 90MB/s write speed.

The SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSD card is available now for $449.99 from the company’s own store or through Amazon (it’s currently listed as Currently unavailable). If the price isn’t a deal breaker for you, then I’d suggest that you make sure your device doesn’t put a cap on the card size it accepts (Amazon’s Fire tablets caps off at 256GB of microSD storage while the Switch has no card limits).
